Laryngopharyngeal reflux (LPR), I was diagnosed with this illness exactly two weeks ago. LPR is sometimes called silent reflux because it doesn’t have traditional reflux symptoms, is a type of GERD that involves stomach acid passing through your esophagus and into your larynx or even your nose.
It is different from GERD. My doctor has confirmed also.
Common symptoms of LPR: (1) a bitter taste in your throat; (2) sore throat or a burning sensation in your throat; (3) difficulty swallowing
While common symptoms of GERD : heartburn
nausea, vomiting, or regurgitation and difficulty swallowing.
The best cure is Diet with avoiding food & drink that allowing acid increase in gastric. what are they? Including tea, coffee, lemon, orange, avocado, fatty food, too hot & spicy, cilli, soda, pineapple, nuts and still many.
Three days after the drinking medicine and dieting, my body was showing a good response. Sore throat is gone, sinusitis no longer appear in tbe morning, my stomach feels very much better.
The next thing I could not hold is to mantain the diet. Yes, I know this is too cliche, but damn so hard. I take sunny side egg for breakfast, less oil and salt, ate with rice. Later for lunch, I prepare plain soup to eat with rice. Dinner has the same menu with lunch. In between those time, I take one slice of bread or 1 banana, and only drink mineral water. I scheduled bedtime in 3 hours after dinner.
Sometimes, when I get bored, I played a bit by ordering simple menu like chicken satay, fried chicken, or fried tempe. These kind of food really gave a fast impact to my body… Oh, reality hurts but you gotta do it to be healthy. It will be very long and needs a discipline manner.
Now I accept the request when my doctor said : “All time diet. Symptoms may arise if you break it” …. It is something to believe and run.
Hmmm, I think it will be okay to have one day break in 30 days 🙂
Nice try :))
