The A Team – that works

What you want from a team?

– Coperative work?

– Openness?

– Supportive and active participation?

– Easy to delegate?

– Together to achieve target?

Or anything else?

Mine is simple, defining the goals together and smooth execution. Yet we know where and when the target must be accomplished.

I have been trusted to lead team since 25 years old. Well yes I know that is not something to be blown or proud of, since many already done so before me. However, the opportunity has grown me as I am, a workaholic yet not a demanding manager. Although sometimes I was spoiling myself by saying “Let this assignment goes to A, B, etc”

In my 25yo, my team under me was people around my age. Easy to connect and really open. We get along each other like friends.

Event later when I was 30yo, I had several seniors in my team, but not a big deal for me because I take their knowledge too while they’re sharing experience. There were fresh graduate team member also in the group, and we made friends.

Some challenges happened when I was 34-35yo, when one of my team was 5yo younger, whose attitude was not kind. Ain’t say that he was mean, but my guess was just about attitude and what have been promised to him which I did not know. Or perhaps he’s expecting something? Naaaah, go away negative thoughts!

I thought the age before 40 has given me a thrilled experienced in leading a team with unique personality. As age differences became wider, and their age matured enough, has created a competitive environment within. This was supposed to be good, if you have that winning attitude. I meant for a winning as team, not to stand in front alone or higher than others. In some lines of working history, I let my team promoted first to give them more pride of working better each day.

Here, in my beginning of 40, I found an interesting situation where my team is at the highest rank of my working history. Such a great news!

Facts that they’re open, cooperative, easy to build, active participation, living in joyful environment, helping each other and many positive attitude, have opened my eyes that millenials are good, in particular spot.

I know how crazy they are when thinking about ideas, about how we can move up, what to do to scale up something, and of course why we sit in one room to solve issues. The A Team it is!

👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 my compliments to the best team ever in nearly my 40s

Thank you guys!
